Testimonials
SHAHZAD MUSTAFA
Sh. Imran Ally officiated my daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding in February 2025. I was absolutely delighted with Sh. Imran’s services. He preceded the wedding proceedings with a sit down with the new couple to explain their mutual marital obligations and answered the couples’ questions. He also organized a session with the parents walking us through the entire process step by step. On the day of the nikaah, Sh. Imran provided a positive, inspiring, and at times humorous tone to the wedding proceedings. We absolutely recommend Sh. Imran Ally to be part of your children’s wedding experience.

We recently engaged the marriage services of Sheikh Imran, and the experience was truly exceptional. He guided us through the marriage process with patience and clarity, ensuring all religious and legal requirements were met. His advice was thoughtful and compassionate, helping us feel confident and at ease throughout the ceremony. We are grateful for his professionalism and dedication, and highly recommend his services to everyone.

I wish I could find the right words to truly thank Shaykh Imran for our beautiful Nikaah. From start to finish, it was everything we could have hoped for and more. I couldn’t stop smiling — I was grinning ear to ear the entire time! It was such a joyful, heartfelt experience.
I’ve been to many Nikaahs before, but this one genuinely felt different. Not because it was ours, but because of the time, love, and sincerity Shaykh Imran put into making sure everyone felt welcome and part of something special. We had quite a few non-Muslim guests, and each one came up to us afterwards to say how beautiful, warm, and inviting it was. One of them even joked, ‘Do we get married there?’ — and that really says it all.
That’s the beauty of Islam when it’s shared with heart and understanding, and we trusted Shaykh Imran completely to bring that to life.
Ali and I are so grateful that he made our ceremony not only meaningful for us, but memorable for everyone who attended. I almost forgot that he had a TELUS pen for us to sign the marriage license.
We’re so grateful and feel incredibly blessed to have had him be a part of our day. Shaykh Imran and his family will always be in our duas.

Every part of the ceremony felt sincere and uplifting, leaving a lasting impression on us and our families. We are truly grateful for his guidance and the blessings he brought to our special day.

My husband and I got married in August 2019 using Shaykh Imran Ally’s marriage service, and we couldn’t be happier with the thorough efforts that he did alhamdulillah. Prior to the nikah, we held private consultations with Shaykh Imran individually and together with my husband. We discussed the technical aspects of the nikah ceremony, and more importantly, the essence of marriage in Islam and the rights of a husband and wife. The nikah procession also went smoothly, and he was flexible even though we were quite detailed with the seating arrangements and the breakdown of the ceremony. He treated us like family throughout the process, and was open and communicative through it all. We recommend Shaykh Imran’s marriage services to any Muslim looking to get married!

President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Boots On The Ground Peer Support For First Responders Alba
I have had the privilege of knowing Imran since he began serving as a volunteer Chaplain with the Peel Regional Police Service in 2010. From the very beginning, I frequently saw Imran at various functions and walking through police facilities, taking the time to interact with officers and staff. He was consistently present and available to people on an everyday basis—an essential quality of an effective Chaplain. His approachable manner made it easy for officers to reach out to him in times of need.
Imran’s great sense of humour and natural warmth helped put people at ease, allowing him to create a welcoming and trusting environment. He truly understands the role of a Police Chaplain—not to promote or impose any religion, but to be there for individuals, offering emotional and spiritual support when needed.
In 2018, when Boots On The Ground (BOTG) was launched, I was honoured that Imran accepted a volunteer position as Chaplain. Since then, he has made many valuable contributions to our organization and to the broader First Responder community across Ontario. As a Chaplain with BOTG, Imran regularly writes inspirational messages to our 150 volunteers, attends functions, and participates in training sessions to educate new volunteers about the important role of Chaplains.
Imran also created and presented a webinar on understanding the Muslim faith, which was extremely well received by our volunteers and helped foster inclusivity and awareness. He remains available to all our volunteers and to callers on our peer support helpline 24/7—an invaluable resource for First Responders dealing with moral injuries or crises of faith.
Because of his exceptional ability to connect with people, Imran was nominated to become one of our volunteer instructors for the FBI Resiliency Course, which we now provide to all BOTG volunteers. After completing the intensive three-day program taught by the FBI National Academy, Imran became a qualified instructor for this important training. Imran’s leadership and influence have had a lasting positive impact on our volunteers and, by extension, on First Responders across the province.
Beyond his work with BOTG, Imran continues to devote his life to serving others as an Imam and in numerous volunteer capacities. His leadership through his mosque, including organizing a vaccination clinic during the pandemic, reflects his deep commitment to community well-being.
In closing, Imran’s tireless dedication and unwavering commitment to supporting First Responders and the community at large are truly commendable. He embodies the spirit of service, compassion, and integrity that defines a true community leader.
